Ep #20 - You are an accumulation of your habits: daily, weekly, monthly, semesterly, yearly, etc. What are you doing to decompress so you aren't relying on alcohol? Being in a small town is no better an excuse than being in a big city is - it's your mindset.
- You are an accumulation of your habits: daily, weekly, monthly, semesterly
- what are you doing to decompress so you are not relying on alcohol?
- plays, meetings, groups, organizations, movie nights, gym, reading, meditation, praying
- Being in a small town is not an excuse
- communicate with your best friends and family members
- friendship/inner circle
1. Taking responsibility for your words and actions
2. Not blaming others for the above
3. understanding what it is you are actually feeling and why you are saying it.
Self-Coaching model:
Circumstance/Event/External Force ---> triggers
Thoughts ---> cause
Feelings --->drive
Actions ---> create
Outcome ---> results provide evidence you will use next time that Circumstance/Event/External Force comes at you again - which will trigger this loop and recreate the behavior to the point it becomes a habituated response and slides into the unconscious.
